Happy 17th Rachel!

Wow....I am feeling older...cause when Ray has a birthday, so do I and so when she turns 20.....add 20 more for me! AaaHHHH!

She decided to invite all her friends over for a "birthday picnic" in the backyard. They built a fire and roasted hot dogs and marshmellows and just hung out as friends do. Good times...

Here's some pictures of some of the activites we've been up to the past few months.... Rachel was "Royal of the month". Her teacher from the home and consumer economics department nominated her for her excellent work in her fashion strategies class. Good job RAY!

Rachel's good friend Stephanie was in Boise visiting friends so we went to visit them. We were next door neighbors when we lived in Payette. Now they live in Cali so we don't see them as much. We had a great time visiting with Stephanie and Cathy!! They have been best friends since they were 3 years old! WOW...now they are all grown up!

Easter

We spent the Easter weekend with Mark's family in Payette. Saturday morning we went with Maurny to the egg hunt at the Fruitland HS. Macee was not into it all all! She cried and wouldn't even go get eggs. Zander had a great time! Whitney and Scotty were on the other side with Grace, and Maurny said they ran so fast she couldn't even get pictures!

Rachel was spending some time with her friend Judson who is leaving on a mission to Russia soon. She went to his church in Middleton Sunday morning so she isn't in the picture with the kids. She got sick that day anyway and wasn't feeling like pictures.

My good friend Kathleen works for Jet Blue and she got buddy passes for me and Rachel to go to New York City! We had a great time exploring the city and JFK airport as well. We got to stay another day because we got bumped off the Sunday night flight. We weren't dissapointed at all though! We got to see more great sites that we missed in the past 3 days there. We all took lots of pictures but some are dark...it was overcast most of the time. I loved NY so much that Mark and I are going to go later this summer of fall! We can't wait! Brooklyn Bridge

Happy 12th Birthday Whitney!

Whitney had a great 12th birthday....honestly, it is really hard to believe it has been 12 years! She was such a cute chubby cheeked baby! We had fun looking over her photo albums from past birthdays and fun times. Lots more to come!!!

SPRING!

Spring....please come now! I was at the Ogden Temple yesterday and saw 3 daffodils (my favorite flower)!!!

Crutches no more....

Ray is finally rid of the crutches. The doc said her foot is lookin good. She is still limping if ya ask me but I guess I would too after 2 foot surgeries in a year! Hopefully by summer she will be all back to normal!
