BRYCE Canyon vacation August 2008

I took over 300 pictures...this is just a sampling of them....

We decided to do a vacation before school started. Rachel has been on crutches most of the summer so we didn't really do anything or go anywhere. So I made reservations at the Ruby's Inn campground just outside Bryce canyon. We left Thusday and got there in time to set up camp. Ruby's is a really nice campgound with a POOL and SHOWERS.. all really close to our campsite. We set up the tent trailer and had a great time. Bryce is so amazing! You almost can't believe what you are seeing...it's so grand and breathtaking! We stayed for 3 nights. We all had a great time...

OH...on the way home right before Fillmore a tire on the trailer blew...shredded actually! Luckily we had a spare. Some fellas stopped to help us also. We got it all better and made it back home safely!

Macee's new bike!

Macee got a new bike for her birthday. She's getting really good at riding it. We took it to the campground at Bryce canyon too. She had fun riding it around the campground. Everyone thought she was so cute on that little bike.

Happy Birthday Jacob & Macee

Even though Jake's birthday isn't until tomorrow...we got a "double" cake again for him and Macee and let him open presents today. Macee opened all her presents yesterday. Jacob is 10 years older than Macee. He is 14!

Happy 4th Birthday MACEE!

Sunday August 17th was Macee's 4th birthday. Mark was up in the Unitas so we went to Tooele for a friend's baby blessing. Then later that night Macee opened presents! I think she likes the Giselle doll the best! She is going to buy a bike with the money she got from Grandma & Grandpa and Aunt Brenda and Uncle Rick.

Backpacking in the Uinta Mountains

This past weekend Mark went with some buddies up to Island Lake in the Uintas. They backpacked all their gear in and stayed 2 nights. They froze the first night...I think it was about 30 degrees! He had a great time though!
